The facts

• What it is — an iPhone app for tobacco cessation, which embodies progress as a volcanic stone whose inner light keeps clearing over time.
• The five tiers — Ember (day 1), Gold (day 7), Sapphire (day 30), Amethyst (day 90), Diamond (day 365). They are earned, never bought.
• The stance — no charts, no calendar, no broken streak. A declared slip dims the stone for twenty-four hours and never resets the counter.
• The model — tracking is free and stays free; the optional Basalt+ subscription opens the reading of your figures, not their measurement.
• The data — the app works without an account, and what you declare stays on the device.
• Release — targeted for Mois sans tabac, France first, in French and English.

The palette

Typography: Outfit for all text, Fraunces italic for the logotype alone.

Using the brand

• The logotype is not recomposed: the hexagonal mark and the word form one block.
• Do not recolour the Stones, do not re-cut them, do not place them on a light background.
• Write “Basalt”, never “BASALT”.
